Mr Beau Noir (Maverick) is a black 16.2hh thoroughbred gelding with four white socks and a star. He is by the USA stallion Joyeux Danseur out of the mare Black Snake, foaled in 2006.

A gentleman to deal with in every respect, Maverick completed his first two EVA 80 Eventing competitions in NSW in 2016. He went double clear during the jumping phases on both outings, and shows plenty of promise for the future.

He was sold to the O'Brien family in 2016 and has since been resold to a Sydney based eventer, Elizabeth Irwin.
